Tour the All-New 2022 EQS in Cirrus Silver

Mercedes is debuting its all-electric vehicle lineup this year. The first to arrive in dealerships is the 2022 EQS 450+, the electrified version of the luxury S-Class sedan. We are excited to announce we have several of these amazing cars in stock, including today’s spotlight vehicle: a 2022 EQS 450+ in Cirrus Silver.

Exterior of the 2022 EQS

The body of this car is unique to the EQ line. No gas powered model by Mercedes shares the design, which has been optimized to support the all-electric powertrain and implement new elements of comfort and style.

The car has a distinctive “bow” shape from the grille to the rear spoiler, with a straight edge joining the two ends along the bottom. This shape gives the car a sleek, almost fluid appearance and results in a ridiculously low drag coefficient of just 0.20. For comparison, the Tesla Y model has a drag coefficient of 0.23, and a Toyota Prius is even higher at 0.25.

The hood of the 2022 EQS is designed to remain shut, with no visible gaps or latching. Aside from the rearview mirrors, there are no significant projections of any kind. Even the door handles and the Mercedes hood ornament have been made seamless, lending to the car’s streamlined appearance.

The 2022 EQS at Mercedes Benz of Littleton gleams in Cirrus Silver with a glossy black grille and bold AMG trim elements.

Interior of the 2022 EQ Sedan 450+

As you might expect, Mercedes’ entire EQ lineup has been decked out with the latest in technological advancements. There is no “base” version of the electric Mercedes-all three trim options offer the ultimate in comfort and convenience.

Our Cirrus Silver model features the Premium trim enhanced with the AMG Line Interior Package. Black-accented AMG mats, sports seats, and a leather steering wheel contrast beautifully with the pale silver exterior. Front seats have pillow headrests and lumbar support for added comfort.

Standard tech features include Burmester surround sound, KEYLESS-GO with seamless door handles, rear axle steering, panorama roof, ambient lighting in 64 colors, and Mercedes Navigation with augmented video.

What’s It Like to Drive the EQS 450+?

The electric sedan by Mercedes has four driving options. Comfort Mode is the default, which keeps the drive smooth and quiet. You also have the option for Sport Mode, Eco Mode, and Individual Mode. Sport mode increases responsiveness of the vehicle, while Eco Mode increases efficiency by modifying the powertrain and increases the energy recaptured when braking. Individual mode allows you to customize your drive to your personal tastes.

Powered by a 245kW permanently synchronous electric motor, the EQS 450+ can attain up to 329 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. The innovative battery has a high energy density and long life span. It is operated by Mercedes-patented software that can be updated remotely, without the need for visiting a dealership. This battery power and high torque result in a drive that is ridiculously smooth and quiet.
