Denver is adapting quickly to the growing need for electric charging stations. Many of its most popular hotels now offer the ability to charge onsite, eliminating the inconvenience of having to fast charge the next day before you head out. Check out our list of top hotels with EV charging in Denver before you plan your next trip to the Mile High City.

Denver Luxury Hotels with EV Charging

The Brown Palace

The historic Brown Palace Hotel and Spa is as luxurious as they come. It’s been a downtown Denver staple since it was built in 1892, and a four-star and Four Diamond hotel since 1977. Constructed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, the building has been meticulously maintained to preserve its original beauty. The hotel perfectly balances its historic roots with every possible modern convenience, including on site EV charging stations. The hotel is also pet friendly, so feel free to bring along your furry friends (read ahead about certain breed restrictions in Denver).

The Art Hotel by Hilton

At the opposite end of the aesthetic spectrum we have the ART, a sleek contemporary design outfitted with an asymmetric glass entryway and an installation of over 22,000 LED lights by Leo Villareal. Instead of a traditional lobby, guests are guided through the Portico Gallery, with pieces selected by renowned Contemporary and Modern curator Diane Vanderlip. The entire experience is centered on a love of edgy artwork and design, with pops of color, asymmetry, and every sort of art piece, from acrylic paintings to neon lights.

It would be odd for such a place as this to be without one of contemporary society’s most sought after conveniences: EV charging.  Luckily, the ART does not disappoint in this department either. There is a Chargepoint Charging station within walking distance of the hotel, where guests can charge from 10 to 80 percent in under an hour.

The Crawford Hotel

The Crawford is conveniently located right above Union Station, Denver’s historic train hub that has been updated with an array of shopping, entertainment, and dining options. You may not even need an EV when staying here. You can reach the hotel directly by train from Denver International Airport, and the hotel has its own fleet of Gazelle e-bikes for exploring (in the summer months only).

In the off months, of course, you will have access to EV charging. The station is flanked by an EVgo station on one side and a ChargePoint station on the other, both within walking distance.

EV Charging in the Mile High City

Even if your hotel does not have EV charging available onsite, Denver has you covered.  Colorado ranks among the top ten states with the most EVs in the nation, so convenient charging is a priority. There are currently over 400 fast charging stations within the Denver city limits alone, with plans to aggressively expand this number in the near future.
