The all-new Mercedes Benz C-Class is expected to arrive at dealerships this Spring. With high end upgrades, including the latest in technology and three new trim options, the 2022 C300 is a master class in Mercedes’ ability to combine efficiency and luxury.

What’s New for the 2022 C300?

2022 C300 Exterior Features

Highlights of the new C-Class sedan exterior include a “cab-backward” design, which moves the windshield and passenger cell to the back. The result is a streamlined profile and more classic dimensions.

New sculpting gives the car the appearance of being in motion, even when parked. The sleek profile comes together with distinctive Mercedes elements, like a gleaming radiator grille and LED lighting.

The New C-Class Interior

At 41.7 inches of legroom, the 2022 C300 maintains the spacious front seating area of the 2021 model; however, rear passengers will enjoy an increase in legroom from 35.2 inches to 36 inches (more than the 2021 Audi A4 Sedan).

The rest of the cabin is as luxurious and driver-centric as we are used to with a Mercedes. Heated front seats with lumbar support come standard, as does a plush leather steering wheel and sunroof.

New tech adds to the comfort and opulence of the C300. The 2022 model offers wireless smart-phone integration for Apple and Android, with multiple charging ports for driver and passenger convenience.

A stylish console features an 11.9-inch portrait-style central touchscreen as well as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. And, of course, all trim levels include the next generation of the MBUX infotainment system, this time with 50 percent more processing power.

Trim Options for 2022 C300

In the past, buyers could choose trim options for their Mercedes a la carte. This year, the 2022 C-Class will offer three distinct trim options: Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. This is in an effort to make the trim selection process easier for buyers.

Premium Trim includes Mercedes’ most advanced safety features, like keyless start, fingerprint scanning, attention assist, blindspot assist, active brake assist, and parking damage detection. 18” wheels, heated front seats, ambient lighting, and sun roof are standard.

Exclusive Trim includes all features of the Premium Trim, but adds in Parktronic Park Assist, Surround View System, wireless charging, and the Burmester 3D Surround System with Sound Personalization.

Pinnacle Trim has all the amenities of the first two trim options along with Mercedes Benz Navigation, Head Up Display, and MBUX-augmented video display for navigation.

2022 C300 Performance

The 2022 C300 comes equipped with high-performance specs, including a 2.0L Inline 4-Turbo engine with 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The four cylinder engine is designed with mild hybrid technology, delivering more torque than its predecessor.

The available EQ Boost option gives it an additional 20 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque. The 2022 C300 goes 0-60 in 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph, and is available in rear-wheel and 4MATIC all-wheel drive options. The AWD system has improved front-axle drive for better torque transfer.

When Will the 2022 C300 Be Available?

The new C-Class has yet to be released in the United States, but most expect it to arrive at dealerships in the Spring. This date may be somewhat flexible due to supply chain issues within the automotive industry. You can stay updated about the 2022 C300 and its release dates by signing up for emails from Mercedes Benz.

In the meantime, Mercedes Benz of Littleton has plenty of earlier C300 models in stock. Or, while you wait for the new C300 to arrive, you might consider giving one of our 2022 S-Class vehicles a test drive. Visit our dealership or go online to see what we have on the lot.
