The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe is set to hit US dealerships in late autumn/early winter. It features a host of tech, luxury, and style upgrades to the already wildly popular model. The model will be available in standard and Pinnacle trim options, along with a variety of packages designed to accommodate the most frequently grouped optional features.
New Features of the 2024 GLC 300 4MATIC Coupe by Mercedes
The goal of the new GLC 300 4MATIC is to unite the practicality of an SUV with the drivability of a coupe. Lower in height but with the zippy performance of an off-road vehicle, the model superbly navigates virtually any terrain. The brand has revamped several styling and tech details without compromising performance or comfort:
New Styling on the Exterior
The sporty design of the GLC 300 has been augmented with carved edges and deliberate shaping to highlight the wheel arches and overall proportions of the vehicle. Once optional, the Mercedes-Benz star pattern is now standard on all GLC 300 radiator grille covers.
More Cargo Space
The new GLC 300 4MATIC has more storage space than its predecessor: a full 1.6 cubic feet more with the second row in place (19.2 cu ft total), and a massive increase of 3.1 cubic feet with the seats folded down (52.6 cu ft total).
Bigger Screens and Updated Systems
The interior of the 2024 GLC 4MATIC is equipped with the latest in Mercedes Benz technology, including a larger center infotainment display (11.9” up from 10.25”) and the newest navigation and MBUX systems.
2024 GLC 300 Interior Highlights
Both the driver and passenger seats in the new GLC 300 4MATIC will be heated. Panoramic sunroof is now standard and 2.4 inches longer than in the previous models. Inductive wireless charging is now available as well for added driver and passenger convenience.
Advanced Mild Hybrid Technology
The 2024 GLC 300 4MATIC comes equipped with a 48 volt battery and integrated start generator to recoup energy during braking and other tasks, increasing fuel efficiency and boosting the hp from 255 to 278 (+23 hp) and the torque from 295 lb-ft to 443 (+195!).
Trim Options for 2024 GLC 300 4MATIC
Besides the standard edition, the all new Mercedes GLC 300 4MATIC will be offered in a Pinnacle trim level. For an additional $2950, the trim includes:
- Burmester sound system
- Head up display
- Heat and noise insulating glass
- Digital light and projections
Mercedes Benz has also revamped its package logic to offer groupings of common features selected by customers. The Night Package, for example, caters to those who prefer AMG styling. Just $200 gets you the classic 19” AMG Twin 5-spoke wheels with black accents (20” is extra). You also get the high gloss black treatment for the front wing, grille lamellas, exterior mirrors, window trim, beltline, and rear diffuser insert.
How Much Does the 2024 GLC 300 4MATIC Cost?
The base MSRP for the 2024 GLC 300 4MATIC is $57,000. This is up $2300 from the 2023 model, which seems reasonable given the new tech and performance specs. The vehicle is available to order right now and will show up at most dealerships later this year (hopefully by December).
