2026 EQS Black

The EQS SUV is one of the newest models in the Mercedes stable—a fact that’s immediately evident when you see its sleek, futuristic design and forward-thinking tech features. Some critics have even called it one of the best electric SUVs of the past few years, and we’re inclined to agree.

For the 2026 model, the EQS SUV got some exciting new changes that are guaranteed to make it even better than before. Keep reading to check out its updates, specs, and features.

2026 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Updates

The latest and greatest version of the EQS SUV sees some significant feature updates, including new charging infrastructure, a revised model lineup, and more standard amenities:

  • The North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter now comes standard, giving owners access to a far larger network of public DC fast chargers than ever before.
  • The model lineup has been significantly revised. The EQS 450+ has been dropped, the EQS 450 4MATIC® has been renamed the EQS 400 4MATIC® SUV, and the EQS 580 4MATIC® is now the EQS 550 4MATIC® SUV. Despite the name changes, the lineup still has the same impressive power specs as the previous year.
  • New features now come standard, including heated rear seats, a wireless device charger in the second row, luxury second row headrests, and improved rear airbags.
  • Two new Sound Experiences: Granular Fuzz and Fractal Fusion.
  • A new exterior color, MANUFAKTUR Patagonia Red Metallic.
