Keeping Up With The Mercedes Maybach Minivan
Just call her Kim CAR-dashian (no we won’t apologize for that one). It’s no secret that the Kardashian-Jenner family loves the luxury lifestyle, and that definitely includes a huge fleet of high-end vehicles.
Among the Aston Martins, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris, the KJ ladies can be seen driving the latest Mercedes-Benz models, like Kourtney’s S-Class. After all, even a Kardashian needs an “everyday” car that is more conducive to school runs and Starby’s drive-thrus. More room for a bigger Family
Kim Kardashian has a sizable brood of four to tow around Calabasas, not to mention an ever-growing extended family. So what’s a girl with expensive taste to do? Roll out the red carpet and enter the fully Kustomized Mercedes-Benz Maybach Minivan.
A Luxury Minivan
For those of you scratching your head at the thought of a Kardashian driving a minivan, rest assured: this is not your average soccer mom behemoth (do her kids even play soccer?).
The van actually started out as a factory-built Mercedes Metris, and was kustomized to more closely resemble Kim’s favorite Mercedes model, the Maybach truck. (Note: We are kommitted to using the Kardashian spelling throughout this blog, please get komfortable).
RD Whittington oversaw the project, featured on Discovery+ Million Dollar Cars. Kim was present for the show’s March 22 finale where she saw her new van for the first time, which also happens to be the only van of its kind in the U.S..
Luxury Features
Kim K is a long-time driver of the Maybach truck, and a self-professed “car girl,” so Whittington and his team had their work kut out for them. Thankfully, after six months of work (and a $400,000 price tag!), she seemed thrilled with the results: a Maybach-style van replete with luxury features including;

Aside from the paint, Kim told Whittington the car was “amazing,” and she was excited to use it for the next morning school run. Remember: she’s not like other moms, she’s a Kool Mom.
