I hope that your customers realize the value of the service that you are providing. Shelley and I flew out on 11/19 at midnight so I drove to the airport and parked. We were both supposed to fly back on 11/26 but she decide to stay for three more days. When I got to the airport I realized that the car key was still with Shelley in Barbados. I took a cab to her parents gallery and Paul ran me around to get the extra key and then to the airport to get the car. Dear Mercedes,
I would like to take a moment to "Thank" your company, engineers and safety teams.
On the night of March 15th, 2011 I was on my way home when I stopped at a street light in Parker, Colorado. After sitting there for a few seconds, I noticed through my rear view mirror a vehicle approaching me from behind. I got very nervous when I realized that the car wasn't slowing down. At the very last moment I realized the person behind me wasn't stopping and they were about to hit me. Luckily my normal habits are to keep plenty of room between me and the person sitting in front of me, so I threw the steering wheel to the left and slammed on the gas,.. all in an attempt to get out of the way. Unfortunately my actions weren't quick enough. I was re-ended on the back passenger side and I was shot to the far left turning lane.
At the moment of impact, the car's interior lights came on, the emergency lights began to flash and the car came to a rolling stop. Even though I was stunned, I felt ok and my attention switched to my immediate danger of being hit again. I quickly scanned the area and realized that I was off on the side of the road and out of immediate danger. I called 911 and reported the accident and remained in the car until the emergency crews approached the scene.
Once emergency crews arrived I got out of the car and informed them I felt initially fine and no one had checked the other driver, who was on the complete other side of the road.
Moments later when I meet the other driver she stated that she never saw me and never slowed down. This leads me to believe that she was traveling at least the speed limit of the road, which was 50 mph. She was driving a large sized GMC Envoy.
Understandably, She was very distraught; she was crying and kept repeating that she was so sorry and sorry for the damage to my Mercedes. I replied, "You're ok, I'm ok and I don't care about the car, but I'm glad I was driving my Mercedes!".
At that moment, I was so thankful that my Mercedes, in its strength in design and its safety features, allowed me to walk away from this car accident.
It wasn't till later when I returned to the car, that I noticed that the Mercedes neck rest deployed to reduce whiplash. Yet another feature to be so thankful for!
I know my quick re-action, to attempt to get out of the way, reduced the accident. However without the acceleration of the car it would have made my efforts useless. Not only would the accident have been worse, but I also would have been pushed into the car sitting in front of me.
I am now working with the insurance companies to replace the car. I will state, "I will not own anything else besides another Mercedes".
With all the above in mind, a very much respected and appreciated "Thank you" from me and my family, to yours.

On Mach 11, at rush hour, my Mercedes just would not start. Juan was going to come out but then my car started (briefly) and I called Juan and told him not to bother. I went about 500 feet and my car stopped again, in the left lane and traffic was building up behind me. I called Juan again and he correctly thought the problem was the sender unit. He and Amanda Rowe, arranged for a Tow to your shop. Amanda also arranged for Enterprise in Parker to pick me up after the Tow service arrived and provide me with a rental. Although this was a bad situation at a very busy time and day, I just sat there thinking how lucky I was to have a relationship with Mercedes Benz of Littleton, where just one call to Amanda made a bad situation easier to deal with.
I have been coming to your service department for 9 years and deal with Matt who is terrific, but I am sure you already know that.

The engine was running but nothing else worked and the car could not be turned off. The roadside assistance folks immediately put Juan on the case. Juan was unbelievable. He not only made a trip out on New Year's Eve to get the engine stopped, but came back the next day with a loaner and even made a third trip to assist the tow truck driver in loading the car. Matt, in service, also went above and beyond the call of duty. He not only found and repaired the problem right away, he drove it back to our house in Castle Pines and returned in the loaner car.

I have been a Mercedes fan for about six years, and the only problems I have ever encountered have been with dealership sales or service. The cars have always been great.
In this instance, the dealership personnel, particularly Morrie Shepard, not only eliminated complaints, but surpassed my expectations in every way.
The car involved is a model I have been searching for since late September: a 2008 low mileage S63 AMG. I found quite a few available on eBay, Cars.com and locally in Dallas, Texas where I live.
After narrowing the list to five based on condition, CarFax reports, Certification and options, I began the task of making the final selection. Since only one of the vehicles was local, and since my business commitments make casual travel very difficult at this time of year, I was resigned to buying a car sight unseen.
That translates into placing a lot of trust in whomever is representing the car, and I ruled out individual sellers on that basis. Still, there were five reputable dealers (not all Mercedes) who had models of this fine car for sale.
It didn't take long to realize that Mr. Morrie Shepard was the kind of person I wanted to deal with. He was professional, prompt, interested without being pushy, and in every way responsive. He promised that the car was perfect, and assured me that if it was not exactly as described, I could send it back.
Well, it arrived yesterday?a day earlier than Morrie had estimated, and was exactly as promised. I now cannot complain about dealership experience when discussing Mercedes, thanks to Mr. Shepard and his associates at Mercedes-Benz of Littleton. Since we have never met in person, I can only assume that the treatment I got is the same that you or anyone else will get from him. I encourage you to test and find out for yourself.Ben H.
