About the AMG Driving Academy

AMG Driving Academy is a world renowned driver training program that arrived to the United States in 2009, continuing the global expansion of the AMG Driving Academy founded by AMG in Affalterbach, Germany and operated throughout Europe. The factory in Affalterbach is where each AMG engine is manufactured with the most stringent quality standards that maintain the AMG philosophy and practice of "one man, one engine."

The U.S. AMG Driving Academy brings the program to some of the most exciting racetracks in America and provides hands-on lessons in dynamic performance driving: exercises in threshold braking, cornering and line theory, skid control and recovery, and high speed sector training and track driving, all designed to make you a safer, better driver. The curriculum builds on driver skills with high-performance dynamics training, extensive data gathering and in-depth driving analysis - and of course, many high speed laps around the track.

Driving Programs

BASIC

Intense, one-day track program focused on performance driving dynamics. In the morning, learn the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics and control maneuvers using customized exercises. Once you perfect vehicle control and handling, you'll progress in the afternoon to a set of high-speed exercises that make use of the entire track. Program begins with a welcome dinner and technical briefing the evening before your big day on the track.

ADVANCED

Two-day program picks up where Basic leaves off, providing advanced training and technical on-track instruction. Onboard diagnostics and data capture enable detailed computer analysis and evaluation.

Advanced is offered to drivers who have completed either Basic, AMG Challenge, European AMG Driving Academy program or equivalent courses.

Program begins with a welcome dinner and technical briefing the evening before your big day on the track. Your first day on the track concludes with a Bratfest reception.

PRO

As the three-day pinnacle of the AMG Driving Academy curriculum, Pro offers increased instruction while challenging and improving capabilities and skills to a much greater degree. During the three day program, participants will train on the legendary Road Atlanta circuit. As speeds increase and skills improve, open lapping provides the maximum challenge and thrill. With an intense curriculum, AMG experienced instructors prepare participants to confidently welcome the challenges of Road Atlanta.

Your first day on the track concludes with a welcome reception and technical briefing. Your second day on the track concludes with a Bratfest reception.
